Summer Hours & 2025-2026 School Year Information

This summer, our campus will be open to the public for the following summer hours: 

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Closed from 12:00pm - 1:00pm for lunch. 

Summer Meals

Beginning May 28, BISD Child Nutrition will serve free meals to everyone 18 and under. Meals will be available for dine-in at Hajek Elementary: 

May 27-June 27 

Monday - Friday

Breakfast: 7:30 am-8:30 am

Lunch: 11 am-12:30 pm

 

Verification of Enrollment Forms (VOE)

 

Summer School - Secondary Only

High school students may attend summer school for Credit Recovery (CR) or Initial Credit (IC).

When: Monday-Thursday, weeks of June 4th-26th, except June 19

Where: Game Development Design School (GDDS), Door 5, located at 510 SW Wilshire Blvd. 

Hours: 

• Online courses are accessible 24/7 

• Test taking & support: 8:15-12:15 M-Th

Technology Operations

Technology Help Desk services will be available for staff and students during the following summer periods:

• Tuesday - Thursday, May 27 - June 26, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

• Monday - Thursday, July 7 - July 24,  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Grades 1-12 Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment for 2025-2026 students in all grade levels will begin on June 3, 2025.

 

Online annual registration for returning students will begin in late July.
