Welcome to the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department at Burleson Independent School District. The CTE programs at Burleson ISD prepare students for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21st century and are designed to prepare students for life-long success in high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand occupations and career fields.

BURLESON ISD CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION MISSION
The mission of Burleson ISD Career and Technical Education is to provide a strong academic foundation which enables students to explore post-secondary career and educational options, create individual programs of study aligned with their goals, pursue their ambitions through rigorous and relevant courses, and prepare for their future roles as citizens, leaders, and contributors within the global community.

The Burleson Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources, Arts, A/V Technology and Communication, Business, Management and Administration, Education and Training, Finance, Government and Public Administration, Health & Medical Services, Human Services, Information Technology, Family & Consumer Sciences, Auto Technology, Computer Science, Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security, Diversified Career Preparation, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Services, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Admission to these programs is based on student interest and enrollment.
